Yes, I just came back from Youth Nation Summit 2011 which was held at UM!
Fun? yup kind of..
Btw, I feel bad for skipping the afternoon sessions with my friends as they feel bored,
neither do I..
still Rotaract is the best for me,
much more organized and we had FUN of course!
all right, cut out the crap..
somehow m inspired by the energetic youth..
They really want to make a different for the youth..
Voice out their opinion to make a better life for all of us..
however, they should also stand on the other way to think of the consequences for what they did,
don't just simply talk without thinking, somehow i just feel that they are too childish!
but i also won't deny that some of them are really good,
very matured thinking and can speak fluently in English..
I want to be one of them =D
All the speakers are good!
so far i was really inspired by Joel Neoh,
co-founder of Youth Asia..
Do what you want and do not afraid of falling down!
Marina Mahathir and Roslan T. had given their talk as well,
too bad that i went back adee..
our beloved Prime Minister also joined us for lunch on the very last day,
try to spot me in the TVs new =)
overall, i think i failed my social skill..
i just don't feel like mingle around..
Anywayz, for those who do not know what does Youth Nation Summit is,
it is an event organized under the power of Y, an initiative that incorporates the best of youth leadership,
practical industry knowledge and experience through a series of events and programs.
Some of the highlights of the summit are Sustainability Expo, Leadership Activation,
Skills workshops, Youth2Business Forum, Youth2Government Forum, Youth Defined CSR Programs
and Project Pitching where 20 selected youth leaders pith their community-development initiatives for
financial supports.
The summit is FOC that's why i joined =P
