Xmas 2010

This year Xmas is a little bit difference compared to the previous years..
I joined Caroler.. hehehhe
Good experience!!

Next, I had glutinous rice ball on a Xmas eve day!!
Wow because for Chinese, we will only eat glutinous rice ball on Winter Solstice which will be fall on 22nd December every year..
Every of the family member will need to go back to their lovely home to eat the glutinous rice ball..
In Mandarin, glutinous rice ball means Tang Yuan.
It means all of the family member will be reunion on this day..
It is a big festive among the Chinese..
Though this year I cant celebrate it with my family due to m far apart from them..
But luckily I can still eat it with my friend in UMK on 25th but not 22nd.. LOL

All right, back to the topic..
After the Tang Yuan session, then we had a gift exchange time..
I got a small glass of sea shells and a cute little bear from Angela..
This is a meaningful gift as we started our friendship on a seaside and all of us had a common LV bear..
So this small glass of sea shells and bear are meant for it..
Although we do not have a grand party like we used to celebrate it at our hometown..
But this year, indeed a special Xmas party for me..
Small, quiet, and only us..
Sitting on the futsal court and chit-chat around..
This is what I cant experience at KL..

m at the 2nd top in the photo..

New year coming soon..
Hopefully I can see a fireworks here..
I miss the fun when i was in KL..
Everyone go to the shopping centre and countdown together..
Spray is a must and everyone will get wet !!
Not to mention about the live band.. the performances..
Wow, the more I said, the more I miss..
Damn it!!
All right, I shall not complaint again.. LOL

New year new me..
So I will need to change my behavior..
Change to a more lovely person..
So that more guys will be “die” on my hand.. LMAO
And be a good cooker too!!

Chestal chin, m looking forward to see the new you!!
All the best!!

Punctuality

Do you know what is the meaning of PUNCTUALITY ?
I am sure you will say yes but are you really on time all the time..?
Of course nobody will on time all the time included me because sometime we may face some problem too like stuck on a traffic jam or whatsoever emergency happened..
I mean EMERGENCY where nobody can predict..
Those are the reasons that we can  accept..
However, I found out that there are people who know the meaning of punctuality but they are not on time at all!
I really fed up with these kind of people..
They can still very relax when the time reached!
And they can answer you that nobody will reach on time, so don’t need to rush..
I was like wth?
Or can I ask another way round..
Do you like to wait people?
NO right?
Imagine that you are the boss and there are suppose to be 1 person to attend the interview but he/she is late, do you still willing to wait for him/her?
If I am the boss, I will straight away throw away his/her application form..
It is because he/she don’t know what is the meaning of punctuality and discipline..
So how am I suppose to hire him/her?
Late to work, late to meeting, late to attend appointment with customer bla bla bla..
They are just wasting our time..
Time is precious.. don’t they know that?
So for the next time, let’s imagine that you are the one who need to wait for the other, then you will be on time..
Think for the other.. don’t be so selfish!
If everyone think like you, then the world will not be in systematic..
Everything will not be on time..
So ask yourself again, what is mean by punctuality..
Think!!!

In this making of 'memory' - kite remedy

group photo @ 17th Nov 2010, Chilies 1 Utama

dear US2,
how's your life?
it's been a while since I heard you laughed (although we just had our gathering last week =P),
I, sometimes, dream of us so clearly,
in this making of 'memory'

our past days surely are beautiful,
the things keep our memory books so full.
the things we left unchanged are so many,
in this making of 'memory'

dear US2,
I miss you all really much.
I miss school day because sometimes i felt very lonely here.
do u still remember our day, our time,
do you still have that memory?
we live our lives now, differently.
we are, but for the making of another 'memory'

see you all soon!

quote of the day

"Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius -- and a lot of courage -- to move in the opposite direction."

一个人
怎么热闹
回到家的心
仍旧残留
刚打烊的喧嚣
进门刹那
噤声的黑暗
以熟悉的拥抱
引领我沉澱
在无尽的长夜
面对无言

the great ocean road

On 3rd of December 2010, all of us went to The Great Ocean Road which is a 243km stretch of road along the south-eastern coast of Australia between the Victorian cities of Torquay and Warrnambool. The road was built by returned soldiers between 1919 and 1932, and is the world's largest war memorial: dedicated to casualties of World War I.

Along the roadside, there are alot of look out points, waterfall, beaches, etc..
The total journey is about 10 hours plus or more?? LOL..

Cape Otway Lightstation..

Eagle Rock

after the long journey, 12 apostles!!!

The Twelve Apostles are giant rock stacks that rise majestically from the Southern Ocean and are the central feature of the rugged Port Campbell National Park.
The Twelve Apostles have been created by constant erosion of the limestone cliffs of the mainland that began 10–20 million years ago. The stormy Southern Ocean and blasting winds gradually eroded the softer limestone, forming caves in the cliffs. The caves eventually became arches and when they collapsed rock stacks up to 45 metres high were left isolated from the shore.
Sunrise and sunset offer particularly impressive views as the Twelve Apostles change colour from dark and foreboding in shadow to brilliant sandy yellow under a full sun.
The Twelve Apostles are located just east of Port Campbell, along the Great Ocean Road. Parks Victoria has built boardwalks, tracks, and viewing areas to ensure you get spectacular views of the Twelve Apostles.

You guys must really come here you know.. it's damn beautifulllllllllllllllll =)
n the apostles is getting lesser n lesser.. soon will disappear i think
so what are you waiting now? go buy a flight ticket from AirAsia as they r having promotion now =P
After that just rent a car for whole day n stop by the attraction that you wish to go..
Though it is really a long journey, but it worth to see =)
~Once in a lifetime~

and get yourself a plastic bag along the journey as you might throw up...
the road is crooked !!
Get a good driver too !!

hehe

my Aussie trip 2010

People, m back!!!!
Has been away to Australia to attend a conference (Asia Pacific Regional Rotaract Conference)..

It was funnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn =)
Ohhh, i wish to stay longer as the weather was really great although it was raining on the first few days..
Australia is so colddddd during the summer.. but very niceeee and i love it!!

the blooming flower =) it was purple in colour..

Hmm, the portion of their food was huge =)
but the taste isn't as strong as in M'sia..
We miss Malaysian food when we were there.. LOL

kangaroo meat!!
omg, this is really niceeeeeeeeee.. *yummy
Found this on the last day when we were at St Kilda beach..

emu sausages =)

Mighty Angus at McD..
Soooooo juicy =)

the foods that we ordered..
4 of us cant even finished it although the portion looked small when they served..

Next, the transport there was really convenient..
you can go to anywhere without worry on the transportation..
with just a map on my hand, i can take the local bus, tram or train to meet up with my friend =)

tram that you can find anywhere in the city =)

About the conference, frankly speaking is not really as fun as i thought..
perhaps this is da first time that Australians organize such a big event..
they do not have any experience on this..
all of us r craving for the food, n the food is da same for everyday!! omg..
samo the time arrangement is really not good..
so Sanjeev indirectly shoot them when he is doing the country report..
LOL!
so i shall see how's da conference next year going on as Sanjeev will be the APRRC chairman =)
most of us had already pre-registered for the next year APRRC which will be held in Manila, Philippine..

2nd club asembly @ Pangkor

went to Pangkor Island for club assembly last weekend.. I had so much fun over there..
wish we could stay more longer >.<

Pulau Pangkor is an island off the coast of Perak in north-west peninsular Malaysia, reached by ferry from Lumut. It has a land area of only 8 square kilometers, and a population of approximately 25,000 islanders. It is heavily promoted as a low-key tourist destination by the Malaysian government, but fishing and fish products remain major industries.

da dang, welcome to Pulau Pangkor =)

Dutch Fort

Just south of Pangkor Town lies Kampong Teluk Gedung. There is the old Dutch Fort. It is build in 1670 and used for storing tin. The Dutch used to Fort further as a stronghold against local Malays and pirates.
Today only some of the foundations are left. The Dutch Fort is located just at the entrance to Tiger Rock of where there is a hotel: Tiger Rock.

Fu Lin Kong Temple

The Foo Lin Kong Temple is a fairly new Taoist temple. It has been build at the foot of Pangkor Hill in the village of Sungai Pinang Besar. The temple has a nice garden partly build on the hillside. There is a miniature Chang Cheng (Great Wall) of China to admire. On the roof you will see the 12 signs of the Chinese zodiac.
The are turtles and plenty of different fish in the ponds around the temple.

searching for my love letter??
at first i thought this was a post box.. [laugh]
but actually it was a donation box >.<

went for cycling right after the club meeting..
cycled all the way to Pasir Bogak =)

Pantai Pasir Bogak is a few kilometers away from Pangkor Town on the West side of the island. This beach is probably the most popular of the Pangkor beaches. Maybe it is because it is so close to Pangkor Town. It has been described as 'the biggest swimming pool in the world'. The water is shallow and crystal clear. You will be able to arrange water-sport-facilities as jet-skiing, snorkeling or rent a canoe. All along the beach there are open-air food-stalls offering specialties such as barbecued squids, satay and fish crisps. Accommodation is easily available, ranging from luxury hotels, chalets to the more Spartan comforts of 'attap' huts and camping sites.

Pangkor look-up point
It's real tired to cycle all the way up to this look-up point, the hill was sooooo steep!!!
all the girls cycled till half way then give up and walk..

Next, we had our dinner at Restaurant Coco, hmm, the food is nice and it's cheap!!

Group photo before we left..
