Movie Review: Titanic 1997

Well well well, i know you guys maybe wondering why i post this movie review in such a long time as this movie was filmed in 1997. *cough* actually, i just had a free time to watch this movie though m 22 years old now! hahaha! Yes! You got me right!! this is my first time watching Titanic after 22 years.. hahaha

Titanic is a 1997 American epic romantic disaster film directed, written, co-produced, and co-edited by James Cameron. A fictionalized account of the sinking of the RMS Titanic, it stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Jack Dawson, Kate Winslet as Rose DeWitt Bukater, Gloria Stuart as Old Rose, and Billy Zane as Rose's fiancé, Cal Hockley.

It's April 1912. The worlds most impressive steamship is about to make it's virgin voyage. It's an unsinkable ship, it's the biggest and the most luxurious ship there had ever been. It was Titanic. On the trip was the young English Rose De Witt Bukater. She travels with her mother and her fiancé. They are going to America and get married. On the ship she start getting frustrating with her life. She is force to marry because she has become poor and her fiancé is a very rich man. In a desperate moment she decides suicide is the only way out.

On the ship is also the young artist Jack Dawson. He won is ticket to Titanic in a card game, right when the ship was about to go off. He happens to be on the deck when Rose runs past him and begin climbing the the front to jump in the water. He calms her and convinces her not to jump, but right when she is climbing back on the ship she slips. He helps her up, and as a thanks he is invited on dinner at first class.
The friendship between Rose and Jack deepens, and both her fiancé and her mother starts getting suspicious. But finally Rose decide to choose freedom and poverty before misery and safety. Rose and Jack recognize the love between them and are very happy for some hours...until the ship hits an ice berg.

My review: I almost cried at the end of the movie when Jack died in front of Rose. Jack spent all his energy to save Rose because he loves her. Talked to her when he noticed Rose couldn't concentrate anymore just to make sure that she is awake. He holds her hand to make her stay warm though he is freaking cold that time and not wearing any life jacket. Jack taught me the power of true love. "You jump, I jump" Now i begin to wonder, is there anyone in my life will do the same for me?  ^^

To have an artist boyfriend seems to be a good idea, you can have him draw a picture for you like what Jack draws Rose's naked body for her and the picture was kept almost 80 years later.. WOW! after that you can show the picture to your grand grand son, showing off how pretty you are when you are young.. hahaha!! It will be quite interesting, i think =)

There is one scene that i love the most in this movie, which is when they kiss on the ship..
OMG!! is sooooooo romantic!!! you won't know how desperate i wanna kiss someone at that time!!! *cough* hmmm, i shall re-watch this part later =P

Overall, this movie was awesome!! I rated this movie 8 stars out of 10? It is because I have another better movie in my mind than this --> Pearl Harbour. That movie is really classic!!

Let's check out some of the pictures of this movie:
