It’s my first visit to
Grand Park Orchard and I had a very pleasant stay in this Singapore’s most
fashionable hotel. The hotel is located in the middle of orchard road and the
MRT stations (Orchard or Somerset) are just within walking distance. You can
find lots of shopping malls and restaurants nearby to the hotel as well.
One of the facilities that
I want to highlight in this hotel is their “Handy”, a COMPLIMENTARY smartphone
solution personalized to guests. It provides the guests to make UNLIMITED FREE international
and local calls (to 27 countries), UNLIMITED 3G data and Wi-Fi tethering capabilities, an
informational city guide, attractive promotions, as well as other interesting
features. With ‘Handy’, you don’t need to worry where to get a prepaid card
with a data plan to make a phone call or surfing the Internet. I love this service very
very very much. I use to be “lost in contact” whenever I travelled down to Singapore
because I don’t have data roaming on my phone and it’s very hard to access
Internet, although most of the restaurants and café in Singapore stated they
have Wi-Fi, but the Wi-Fi is not open for public L but with ‘Handy’, I can connect with my
friends and family easily and it’s very useful ^^ I will definitely stay at
Grand Park Orchard again, and recommend the hotel to my friends, which is what I
am doing now. haha
